The Mauser took the design of their popular M18 rifle and optimized it for long range shooting in open areas to create the M18 Savanna. The M18 Savanna features a weatherproof tan synthetic stock with rubber inlays for a superior grip in wet conditions as well as a rubber recoil pad which can be removed to store cleaning supplies. This rifle also comes equipped with swivel studs on the forend and stock for use with slings and bipods. In addition the M18 Savanna sports a threaded barrel for the installation of suppressors and other muzzle devices.
